2026 Irvine Global Village Festival: Join the OCIGK Demonstration Team!

The 2026 Irvine Global Village Festival will be coming to Orange County’s Great Park on Saturday, October 10! This year is especially exciting as the festival celebrates its 25th Anniversary, and we want OCIGK students to be part of it!
TAKE THE STAGE WITH OCIGK
Students are highly encouraged to join the OCIGK Demonstration Team and represent our dojo in front of the Irvine community. The demo team will perform an exciting, choreographed karate demonstration set to fast-paced music, showcasing the skills, discipline, and spirit of OCIGK.
Joining the Demo Team is FREE! Every participating student will also receive:
An exclusive OCIGK Demo Team patch to wear on their gi
The opportunity to perform on stage at one of Irvine’s biggest community events
The respect and admiration of their classmates in the dojo
A great experience representing OCIGK in our community
MANDATORY DEMO PRACTICES
Students participating on the Demo Team must attend the following practices at
Deerfield Community Center, 55 Deerwood W., Irvine:
September 5th, 12 and 26th — 10 AM
Saturday, October 3rd — 10 AM
Wednesday, October 7th — 6 PM
Complete the Demo Team Sign-Up Sheet in the Class Resources Tab of the OCIGK website or email sensei_yy@ocigk.com to participate.
