Class REgistration

OCIGK classes are provided through the Irvine and Costa Mesa Parks & Recreation Departments. 

 

Irvine class registration takes place monthly through the Irvine Quick Reg online system and Costa Mesa registration is seasonally through CM Online Classes (Select Register Online below to go to the registration site).

 

Irvine classes are held at the Deerfield and Northwood Community Park multi-purpose rooms.

 

Costa Mesa Classes are held at Downtown Recreation Center in the multipurpose room.

TINY TIGERS

Saturday

9:00 - 10:00 am

Tame your little one's inner tiger with techniques to channel their energy in this karate class for beginners. Course strives to instill respect, self-control and confidence. Uniform (Gi) available from instructor for $26.50 and up. More info: 949-837-8641. Ages 4-12.

Karate strives to improve strength, endurance, balance, coordination and flexibility along with developing confidence, self-esteem, respect and courtesy. Uniform (Gi) available from instructor for $26.50 and up.

Student age must be 4-17 years old.

Wednesday and Saturday classes are held at the Deerfield Community Center at 55 Deerwood West, Irvine CA.

Thursday classes are Northwood Community Center at 4531 Bryan Avenue, Irvine CA.

Karate for Adults

Karate is the continuing growth of knowledge, skill and attitude for the purpose of personal development, self-mastery and self-discipline. New students begin with a white belt. Uniform not included in fee - see instructor for Gi $26.50 & up.

Adult 18 and older classes will be announced soon.

Karate for Black Belts

This class is only for those students who have attended previous karate classes with Kyoshi Roy Cadiente and have advanced to black belt. Students are taught advanced kata, self-defense techniques, and technical sparring strategies.
